Wellness at Springfield Public Schools

District Wellness Committee
Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Springfield Public Schools Wellness Committee to create a school environment that promotes and protects children’s health, well-being, and ability to learn by supporting healthy eating and physical activity in school, in the community and in life.  The Wellness Committee works towards improving meals, improving opportunities to move the body, and increasing the awareness of the connection between good food, good health and a student's ability to learn effectively. We hope you will join us in our mission in helping your children make healthy food and physical activity choices in school and at home. Together we can help raise a new generation of healthier young people.
