Oversight Committee Meeting After a busy summer of bond work. The Community Oversight Committee reconvened, Oct. 19, to review the status of progress so far. The committee toured several project sites including the recently redone Page Elementary parking lot, the Yolanda Elementary cafeteria and classroom additions, before settling in for the discussion portion of their meeting in the Riverbend Elementary library.

Good conversation was had regarding project budgets and the Springfield Public Schools' philosphy for tracking project progress. The work that occured throughout the summer continues to have a positive impact on the day to day functions of the district and Springfield Public Schools is exceptionally grateful for the gift the community has provided to the students of Springfield.
