  • Springfield Teams Qualify for State Destination Imagination Event

Posted by Deb Jolda at 3/24/2017

Congratulations to Centennial's "Warriors" team, who are moving on to the state Destination Imagination event on April 8 in Salem.
The Warriors (pictured left) are one of four Springfield teams that participated in the regional DI event. Thurston Elementary School's "Kindle of Ideas" team (on the right) also earned the right to advance, but had to decline due to various family obligations. Teams from Two Rivers-Dos Ríos Elementary and Ridgeview also participated.

DI is an international program aimed at encouraging student creativity. Teams may choose to address one of a number of challenges during competition. The Warriors chose the 3-Peat Improvisational Challenge. Learn more at www.destinationimagination.org.
